1st Attempts @ HDR
I just found this forum and wanted to post a couple shots of my car I took last weekend.[b]
I'm brand new to the HDR photography and also to DSLR photography with these being the first I've attempted.
Created in 'Photomatix' using 3 bracketed exposures @ -2, 0, +2.
Canon 5DII w/Sigma 12-24 & Canon 24-105L ....Av mode-f8 @ 100 ISO.
C&C welcome and would appreciate any/all comments on how to improve

Re: 1st Attempts @ HDR
Welcome to Strictly HDR, Jim!
WOW, these are your first attempts?! Incredible. You've done some great work here. I'm assuming that your photos were not cut off on the sides until you posted them here? There's a size limit that's put in place by the software. That's one of the issues I hope to fix soon.
Nice job. Keep 'em coming!

Re: 1st Attempts @ HDR
Like Spiffy said. Impressive first-attempt HDRs.
Shame you couldn't get a sportier car though. I mean, your seat to exhaust pipe (muffler) ratio of 2:4 is obviously nowhere near as good as my 7:1. LOL.

A car like that, and a 5D MkII! Life ain't fair.
Great shots and processing. I'm glad you posted the smaller sizes, I was getting ready to rip you for cutting off any portion of this cool car.

Re: 1st Attempts @ HDR
Lol, I agree w/the junkie. I knew it had to be a mistake, cutting off those edges.
Jim, the only thing I could see that could use a little improving to make the shot absolutely PERFECT really has nothing to do with your HDR process at all. I might consider doing a little cloning/spot healing on the asphalt in order to make it seamless. Also, I might clone out the tripod in the reflection on the back of the car. That'll make it a 10 in my book.
