I currently use a Pentax K10D and DA*16-50 lens. This is a great camera for HDR as it allows three or five shot AEB in 1/3rd to 2 EV steps. The fps is only 3 but so far I have found that plenty fast enough for people shots asking them to just hold still. The greatest feature I like about this camera/lens combo is it being fully weather sealed. I do a lot of image capture in harsh environments (snow, rain, dust, etc.) that can ruin other cameras.

I use the Samsung GX10 with the two kit lenses 18-55 and 50-200. Like you I bought it mainly for the weather sealing. I live right on the coast and we got a lot of rain, fog etc. but I'm still happy to go out. Today I was out on the beach and got caught in a sudden squall. The gear got wet but I just dried it off and carried on when the rain had passed over

Be careful as the kit lenses are not weather sealed. Either on the lens body or the mount.

This is the one thing that irks me about the new Canon 5D Mark II. All that money, all those MPs and it still only shoots 3 bracketed exposures at a time. Come on.

Yes, it is surprising how many "high end" DSLR's don't offer more than three exposures in AEB.

Bought a Sony DSLR A-100 about the time they were introducing other models, so cost less. The Chinese lens did not impress me! Are the Chinese great glass makers? So added a Carl Zeiss (16-80). The A-100 allows bracketing with .3 EV and .7EV. Sometimes the auto bracketing works for HDR, but usually use manual settings and a tripod. Most of the HDR practitioners recommend 2EVspacing.
